Do not take doubting family members with you - they might not like it. Go for earlier trips - like 5am - the fishing is the best before sunrise. Make it clear to the crew if you don’t want you fish cleaned.

fishing was real steady first hour and a half. then slowed down for 2 hours. then caught our 2 biggest kings at the end of our trip. it was what the captain said it would be . great exp

Make sure to dress and layers and have adequate clothing for the trip from rain gear to sunglasses. If you haven't spent time on big water or have issue with car sickness buy dramamine. Better to be groggy than get sea sick
